After working in travel industry media for a long time, I was contacted by Out & About With Kids owner Elisa Elwin. This is a magazine for families, so focuses on a certain travel style. Even though it has the word ‘Kids’ in the title it still needed a very adult design approach, one that would seem attractive to all potential readers. Taking a strong look at family travel media I developed a new direction. I allowed colours to jump out, but not take over the strong professional photography or absorbing content. The brightness is definitely alive here, but in a nice subtle way.
